ND MILL & ELEVATOR ASSOCIATION NEW RAIL UNLOADING FACILITY
GRAND FORKS, NORTH DAKOTA
This project consisted of a new rail unloading facility and grain handling equipment. Items of work included demolition, earthwork, concrete, precast concrete, structural steel, miscellaneous metals, insulated metal roof panels, EPDM roofing and insulation, metal wall panels, metal flashing and trim, doors and hardware, sealant, plumbing, and HVAC. Equipment installation included conveyors, bucket elevators, bulk weigh/scale and aspiration modifications.
The 5,340 square foot rail unloading facility has a design capacity of 40,000 bushels per hour. It is tied into the BNSF rail system to accept bulk product from rail cars or semi-trucks.
